Chickmo

Chickmo chronicles 8/20/2014 This is the report for all the news from Chickmo, it has been a while since I filed a report.  It seems that Sister Spotty is no longer Sister. She has left the mission field and crossed over to the dark side. She has also taken up permanent residence on the premises. I believe that she is now the lookout for Reggie and the gang of chickens. She now sleeps on the deck rail of the main sleeping quarters, it is impossible for anyone to leave the building without her seeing it. We set up a sting operation.... we had  heard that one of the gang was really a male in the middle of the females! What we found was much more than we bargained for. We were right that one of them was indeed a male, as he simply could not contain his crowing.... he is quite proud of himself. He crows at dawn and all day there after. When we approach the cell he puffs up his feathers and herds the females off to a small area in the cell. None of this was surprising... only...

June 27, 2014

This is a report from the Chickmo inmate detention center. As I was making my morning rounds it was immediately evident that Reggie, the ring leader, was not in her cell! The door to her cell had been pried open and she slipped out. I found her but she was trying to act all cool, as though her behavior was normal. I walked up to her, cuffed her and returned her to her cell. All the while she was trying to bite me! She was kicking me with her long legs and feet! She was squawking so loud that I couldn't hear what the other hens were saying. Once back in her cell I temporarily fixed it so that she would not be able to escape again, until the head warden can permanently repair the door. At this point I hear Sister Spotty... she is being very loud and appears to be distressed. After I returned  Reggie to her cell I went to see what Sister Spotty was up to... she was waiting in the getting away truck! She had commandeered the chicken feed delivery truck! I saw the poor driver with h...

The Chickmo Chronicles

It has been fairly quiet here the last few weeks. Brenda "Bugsy" Banano is still in a solitary cage. As you recall she was originally moved because of injuries sustained in a rumble in the cell block. I am concerned that she has far reaching wounds. She has taken to simply sitting on her behind. She CAN stand for short times and moves around the coop she eats and drinks, could be that she is just lazy or enjoying having the cell to herself. As for now she is living quietly in solitary but can see the other inmates. Regina "Reggie" Romano AKA the devil in feathers, has taken to making VERY loud and weird sounds. I know that she still holds sway over the general population although she is not permitted to mix in with them as she is a troublemaker and is larger than the other inmates. I feel that the general population would be in chaos. I sometimes suspect that SHE is a HE as IT has some well .... manly characteristics. We are watching IT in time she or he will gi...

May 17th

This is an incident report from Chickmo We had previously moved the inmates to new housing outside. Reggie, the ring leader and chief troublemaker, was put in her own cell not too far from the big cell. The big cell was used for the remaining 8 inmates. There had been small incidents on almost a daily basis but the guards are able to handle it. Reggie has become very mean and more ill tempered. She attacks and bites the person that tends to her food and water. The guard is very tired of her attitude. Not only does she attack and bite, she just makes a break for it every chance she gets. She has grown a lot in the time that she has been here. The last time she bit me I reminded her that she may face execution in November if her mood and behavior doesn't change! The remaining 8 were sharing a cell. I overheard them threatening each other.... they have decided that since Reggie isn't in with them now that they want a new leader. They saw me at that point and stopped talking....

The Chickmo Chronicles May 6.2014

Incident Report for May 6 I arrived at work this morning and as is my custom, I do a check of the inmates first thing. It was really windy and a bit cool so I decided to simply check from a distance. I watched the multiple inmate cell and there was the normal activity and so I looked over to the solitary cell where Reggie the ring leader is held. She was laying on her side, and wing stretched out. I was VERY concerned and slipping my shoes back on (yes, remove them at work!) I hurried to the cell. I called her name... nothing. I looked and her eyes where closed... I kicked the cell bars and UP she jumped! She looked me straight in the eyes and smiled and said "Oh good morning!" I know that she heard me calling as the other inmates did. The was a ploy to see what I would do.  I told her a story about a little boy that cried wolf. She didn't seem impressed and asked for her breakfast. She and I are going to have a long, hard stretch of time here.  This ends this ...

Chickmo Chronicles May 5, 2104

This report is for the weekend of May 3 through May 4th. We have been steadily working to have outside cells for the new inmates. Reggie has shown herself to be abusive and it was decided she should continue in solitary. The remaining inmates will continue on in one cell until which time they need more room. The day started out with an escape attempt. Katie "knuckles" Kenmore had found a way to work through the wire and was well on her way to freedom when we caught her and returned her to the cell.  This proved to us that they were ready to be moved. We had a couple of wardens visiting for a while... Warden Samantha Adkins and JT Adkins. Our thanks to them for helping us with the inmate transfer. Guard Wyatt Adkins was there to observe. As Reggie was moved to her new cell she ran out of the old cell and ran around the room and caused us to chase her, the alarms were sounded and guard Molly Woggle and Felipe Navidad were eager to assist. She was finally caught. She beg...

Chickmo Chronicles 4/30/2014

Chickmo Chornicles for April 30, 2014 This is the incident report for Chickmo inmate retention Center I broke up an attempted escape this morning. I was watching the inmates from the next room when I witnessed Reggie trying to bite and tug at something. I decided I better take a closer look and proceeded to the juvie cells. The two cells had managed to work together and pull the roof off of the cell with the multiple inmates, when I entered the room the roof was half way off! The inmates were jumping and trying to get out! No doubt once free they would have freed Reggie as well! I remedied the situation and had a more secure roof put on and the cell was moved further away from the solitary cell. I think that they stay up after lights out and plan their escape. This is the most wily group of inmates I have ever encountered in all my years as a warded. Guards Molly Woggle and Felipe Navidad were out monitoring the exercise yard as we know that there are visitors that come from ti...

Chickmo Chronicles 4/29/14

The Chickmo Chronicles for 4/29/14 This is the incident report for the days of April 26-April 29 Saturday is the set cleaning day for the cells, and as usual it started with the more populated cells. There was very little trouble with this part of the cleaning schedule, just the usual whining and complaining about having to leave their cell long enough for inspection. As they were moved to their temporary cells, one of them inflicted a wound on me. They immediately all looked at me like they were sugar coated! No one would own up of course so they are all on lock down. Then the large solitary cell was cleaned.  As the head boss was doing the inspection, Reggie... the ring leader escaped. She was chased down and recaptured on the grounds... the screaming and carrying on was uncalled for!  As soon as we finished the cleaning and walked out we could see on the CCTV that Reggie was up on the waterer and plotting with the juvies about how they were going to do it for real nex...

Rumble...

The Chickmo Chronicles 4/23/14 On the evening of 4/21/14 a ruckus was raised in the juvenile cells. I, along with the guards Navidad and Woggle, ran to see what the problem was. When we approached it was soon clear that inmate Regina "Reggie"" Romano was engaging in a physical altercation with one of the underlings of the gang. They were immediately separated and the smaller one was checked for h urts and found to be in good shape. She was given a round of cuddle therapy and returned to the cell with the others. Reggie upon arrival was placed in solitary but after the uproar she was integrated into the same cell. Inmate Reggie is now back in her solitary cell, and will spend the remaining time in a different cell. The only way to bust up the gang and stop the planning and scheming of the remaining inmates. It is too early to see yet which one of the remaining 8 will immerse as the new leader. They have yet to tell us which inmate goes with which name, they will eventuall...
