The Chickmo Chronicles
It has been fairly quiet here the last few weeks.
Brenda "Bugsy" Banano is still in a solitary cage. As you recall she was originally moved because of injuries sustained in a rumble in the cell block. I am concerned that she has far reaching wounds. She has taken to simply sitting on her behind. She CAN stand for short times and moves around the coop she eats and drinks, could be that she is just lazy or enjoying having the cell to herself. As for now she is living quietly in solitary but can see the other inmates.
Regina "Reggie" Romano AKA the devil in feathers, has taken to making VERY loud and weird sounds. I know that she still holds sway over the general population although she is not permitted to mix in with them as she is a troublemaker and is larger than the other inmates. I feel that the general population would be in chaos. I sometimes suspect that SHE is a HE as IT has some well .... manly characteristics. We are watching IT in time she or he will give themselves away.
The general population has been moved into a large common area. They have access to new gym equipment to climb and roost on. The are all living in peace, there has been no fussing or fighting in there since Reggie and Bugsy were removed. They sought permission and were granted the go ahead to open a day spa. They have made the first dirt bath room. As of yet it can hold 3-4 inmates at once. The are talking about having a feather grooming room for the styling of the feathers. I suspect the spa will grow, which is fine as it seems to make them behave.
We did have a small scuffle the other day. Sargent Mollie Woggle was on patrol and made the mistake of getting too close to Reggie's cell. Reggie stuck her mouth through the bars and BIT Sgt. Woggle. It was just a nip and Sgt. Woggle was not hurt in anyway, but it brings up the possibility of a future issue. Other than putting her in shackles I do not know how else to contain her.
We had a report of Agent Orange possibly trying to steal the Jeep of the head warden. Reports say that they saw him in the carport and sitting in the front seat and trying to hot wire the vehicle, he fled as soon as he was spotted. Further rules and regulations will have to issued regarding vehicles.
We had our first real visit from the missionary. They used to travel in pairs but she is alone now. I didn't want to dissuade her, but I have never seen a group that needs Jesus more than this one. She will have her work cut out for her, for sure. Sister Spotty will be a good influence on them, I hope and not the other way around!
